I have read that all of the following are based on the legendary (and expensive) French shaving soap Martin de Candre (correct me if I'm wrong on any): - Prairie Creations DdC - LA Shaving Soap - Barrister & Mann Tre Citta - Tiki Bar Soap vegan formula - Le Pere Lucien Of those, I've only tried the Tiki, which is great, so now I want to try them ALL. Anybody that's tried more than one (or all) that can weigh in on their relative merits? And are there any others I missed?
I have 2 of the 5 you have listed. The LASS supposedly reversed engineered from MdC very nice and is priced right and the Le Pere Lucien which is excellent too a bit more expensive but worth the price. Excellent list you have there.
I have the DdC. I've never used MdC. The DdC is very easy to lather with my hard water. It's slick, cushiony and provides good skin care. The only issue I have is the vendor is a bit slow to ship. DdC is worthy of a try.
