Menthol Crystals

I received a package of menthol crystals today and I want to mentholate some witch hazel, it's a full bottle and I'm shooting for something near Alcolado/Osage Rub in chilliness. I understand I should add a little, try it out and add more until I reach my desired level but, I want to know is this stuff potent where a little goes a long way or should I just add a teaspoon to start out?

 

When I add the crystals to anything I typically end up with more than a teaspoon for a bottle. That being said, I would definitely recommend starting small and add a little at a time until it feels just right to you. You can always add more.

Have you tried it yet? If so, how do you like it? And did the crystals dissolve well?

 

I haven't used them yet as I'm waiting to finish an old bottle of WH and will spike the new bottle.

 

I did this the other day to some citrus WH and love it.
I used a Micky D desert spoon amount of menthol crystals to 100ml of the WH.
It took a few days for all the crystals to be azorbed and turned the WH white like milk.
