I was intrigued when I saw a NOS Merkur 11C come up on the bay this week (the razor got discontinued in late 2011 after some tooling pieces wore out and Merkur opted to end the production of the model) and selling for $63 I did a couple of minutes of research and found at least three European vendors that still, according to their sites, have the 11C in stock. Prices ranges from about $32 to $55 shipping not added. Sites that appear to carry the razor; TVBShaving Rasage Classique La Bottega Del Coltello Even taking VAT out, the shipping cost to the US is on the high side and will probably net you around the same as the one that sold on eBay - but seeing that there were 28 bids on it this might be of interest. I have one. A very mild OC, in my opinion, that will give a decent shave. I do like the heft of this razor as it is considered an HD.
