As far as I knew all Merkurs were well.. Merkurs. I did not know they named them anything else beyond the codes, such as 12C, etc. There might be unofficial adopted named out there.. perhaps someone else can shed some light on this?

"I believe there were two others named Lunawerk and Apollo that may have been absorbed by the Merkur company in making Slants..." "I just thought of one more company that made Slants: Mulcuto. But I believe, like Gillette, Merkur absorbed or bought out many of the smaller companies that made razors." I'm sure he'll stop by when he get's a chance.
