You may wonder why I would bother to make a cover for a milk crate. (At least I hope you are wondering, because I am going to explain it anyway.) I have a Dyson fan in the bedroom. When it sits on the floor, the air flow to the bed is partly blocked. So I wanted to raise it up a bit. Toward that end, I bought a plastic milk crate like This It works, but itsn’t very decorative, so I made a little cover for it. Nothing fancy, just 2 yards of fabric, doubled over to make a one-yard square. Looks much nicer than a bare milk crate.
