Gentlemen, I use many aftershave splashes because it helps clean the face after a nice shave due to the astringents and toners within the splash. However more so then not, my face gets slightly dry after using them so I have been applying a face moisturizer after the aftershave splash drys. Would this be the correct process or would it be more beneficial to my face if i used the moisturizer first, then the aftershave splash? Thanks for your thoughts.
I'd use a splash first then a moisturizer if you want to go that route. Or use an "after shave balm" (such as Gillette 2-in-1 lotion, or Nivea aftershave balm, etc.) which covers both functions.
Bingo. Otherwise it would be a waste of moisturizer. I use witch hazel, aftershave splash, and then TSD skin milk.
I follow the simple rule of : Cleanse, Exfoliate (shave), Tone, Moisturize. You can never go wrong by following it.
