That green one sure looks awesome. Lucky guy who gets that one
They all look great! I have a few possible knot options from Shave Forge for #019...but heavily leaning towards the Ultra Density High Mountain White Silvertip Badger.
#019 arrived today and it is awesome!
Ultra Density High Mountain White Silvertip Badger knot installed & curing. The two runner-up synthetic knots also set & curing in their new handles.
I usually figure it like this ..... the more unique of a brush, the better the knot it gets.
Thanks Keith. I think I'm really going to enjoy this badger knot. I was a little worried about being too conservative with the silicone adhesive since I haven't set a knot before & didn't want to screw it up by using too much. The 2 synthetics were good practice though & I think I did ok.
Here is #019 after her maiden lather.
Love it Mike! I'm thrilled that you like it. Thanks for making this project so fun!
My handle #020, is enjoying the weather in California before it heads to the Great White North . The weather should be warm by the time it arrives .
Thanks so much for making these & the opportunity to get one Evan! Your handle looks & feels absolutely amazing!
Thank you. I'm really loving this handle & knot!
So, I'll take this opportunity to say... while I have work and family commitments that are delaying the 2nd batch until July, we (sounds bettet than I) have 12 slots left in batch 2, as of this post. You don't pay until I'm ready to ship. No risk. I will delete all my files when the LE is complete. I may make similar handles but this LE is done when it's done. I'll have to start from scratch with my next design. PM me if you want on the list.
looks awesome Mike..
Thanks Gary. I think this brush is just what I needed to get out of my posting funk.
I know what you mean ..... I started sorting my brushes to be restored ...... I've been so indifferent about most everything. I gotta get moving.
If you can't sleep, and want the long read, I posted over in the 30DC thread here.
Today was the first use of the MrEE LE brush. Suffice to say, not only is the handle gorgeous, but feels just right in the hand. Evan truly is a craftsman, and I couldn't be happier to have this beauty in the den. Thanks to Evan for making this run of brushes, and for sharing his talents!
looks awesome Bruce..
