This shaving brush features a 24mm synthetic knot, a matte black finish and the Murphy and McNeil logo on the bottom. It is in the style of the Rubberset 400 Shaving brush The ferrule is also removable just like the rubberset and should provide for various options in the future for different type and size of knots in the future! I have not had the brush for very long so I can Not really give a lot of details on what I think of it but from what I have seen this is gonna be a very good brush.... I am gonna try to find one of the aftermarket ferrules that were made for the rubberset to see if they work for the MM400 also.... If you have ever been curious about the 400 but never tried one due to cost or availibility then this could be the answer.... As always YMMV...
