The Murray & Lanman Florida Water label was created by the famous French designer Du Maurier who chose to depict the Fountain of Youth because of the refreshing and invigorating scent of the Murray & Lanman fragrance and also from the knowledge Juan Ponce de Leon discovered Florida while searching for the Fountain of Youth. Not only can you use this fragrance as an after shave or body cologne you can also sprinkle some into your bath or shaving water. Wonderful as an all-over body rub or apply to tired feet. Also nice to spray a little onto the hair after combing or brushing. Very exotic. Thanks to www.qedusa.com for the pic and discription ******************************************************** Anybuddy use this stuff? Crag and I traded some things last week and he offered up a bottle.....so I took it. He warned me ahead of time that it was quite potent and to be careful with its' application. Well, I really like the smell of this so I put some in a solution of witch hazel and a little glycerin and came up with a pretty darn good AS splash. Next up is a hair tonic. Highly recommended
Good to hear because after reading the first part of the description, I thought it was a bottle of snake oil.
Sigghhh...ya, I know. It's so hard to get my family to drink the reverse osmosis filtered water we have. Perfectly good tasty water. The bottled ice tea and water bills at my house are not pretty.
I received two bottles for Christmas. I like the scent, a lot of citrus, I did not notice a lot of staying power but I have only used it once. Tryphon makes a Florida Water Shaving soap and I am going to follow with the M&L
I have a bottle, and found its potent scent has mellowed since I've had it; now it's more to my liking.
Damn near impossible to actually find it in their stores these days, at least in Chicago. I saw two bottles of it over a year ago, and not since.
I get mine at Wal Mart. I have only found it at their supercenters. It is a nice, clean "pick me up" kind of scent. I only use it in the summer, and I always have a decant bottle with me in my travel bag. St. Croix
I just bought a bottle from Charles. I've used it a couple times. Nice weekend scent. Doesn't last very long. You can be quite generous in your application of it.
I've had in the past, Florida Water, and it's nice stuff. I have a soap stick in transit to here from Giovanni, and I'm anxious to see how close to the cologne it smells like.
I did the same as Rick and added the w/h and glycerin, makes an excellent a/s splash, just didn't last long enough for an all day cologne.
