I had stopped working on my master bedroom bathroom when I went thru the turmoil of a divorce several years ago. I just never got back to it. It was a sheet of 3/4 plywood with the sink put in it. I should have taken pics before starting. The leaking faucet and seeing damage to the ply got me into gear! I wanted 4" square tiles but, all they had was 2" x 4". So, I took lemons and made lemonade. I have upper part of my vanity/cabinet close to done. I need a bit more lumber to continue.

    I fully understand ......

I had a downstairs full bathroom that took me over two years to finish. It was a 50's house that had everything wrong in the bathroom.

The framing ... pieced together with tiny scraps.
The water baseboard heat was installed wrong and falling apart.
The electrical was pieced together and sketchy.
    The tub leaked.
The floor had ridges in it and the toilet rocked like a hobby horse.
There was no insulation in the walls, so when you farted it could be easily heard in the kitchen.
The floor tiles where all popping off.
There was a gap in the sill plate grass would grow through.
When we pulled the drywall, plumbing asbestos fell from the ceiling.

I'd work on it a few weeks get disgusted and have to take a break.

When it was completed, it was actually enjoyable to use.

Some of those towels are really old. I bought a bunch of new ones this year from "My Pillow" and they are super luxury! It's just me here.
Theo loves cubby holes like most cats do.

Here's a story about cats and cubby holes..one morning when I had my brother-in-law's cat with me, I couldn't find him. I just got plain silly and left the apartment and went outside calling for him-no reply. Came back in(forgetting to logically remind myself that he would have to run by me and s0mehow open my door to leave).. Another check all around the apt. Inside my bedroom, I saw him-casually sitting inside my bedside table. Never left the spot while I was going crazy inside and outside. He's about 18 now-still going strong, I hear.
