Well I've been shaving for two weeks now and have used a Gillette Tech with a Derby Blade. The Cream I've been using is CO Bigelow and TOBS almond which has been producing great results. I'm still on the fence with the Derby blades because they seem to be hit and miss, my next blade will be a feather from my WCS sampler pack. I did aquire a 40's SS and I will start to incoporate that into my rotation.
Sounds like things are coming along well for you. I think you're going to like the Feather/Tech setup. It is, without a doubt, one of my favorite setups to shave with. The shave is incredibly smooth with no irritation.
