great shave for me. smooth strokes, with no cuts or burn. i put a hot towel on my face for 5 seconds, then applied some gillette "goop-in-a-can", rubbed in. started at #3 setting on the fatboy. the head is slightly bent lower or higher on one side, but it didn't affect anything. i shaved like i used to with the fusion. no nicks or cuts. i had to go slower though, and not press down hard. it was fun. i couldnt get as much off under my jaws though. little bit of stubble there. next day though i noticed the shave was lasting longer. and the stubble that came back was more uniform. maybe that lift and cut of the fusion makes uneven hair growth when it grows back. anyway, it was nice, gonna try it with the Erasmic next.
:happy096 Always enjoy hearing that somebodies first shave went well. :signs107 Sounds like you did really well, and don't worry, the close shaves will come in time. Do you try to bend the safety bar back into alignment at all?
Awesome man. I shave with a Fatboy also, and love it. But the magic starts when you get away from the Goo-In-A-Can. Grats on the good shave though. Hope for many more to come.
Good job. Try using even lighter touch on that trouble spot, and experiment with shaving it in different directions. You want to find what gets close without causing any irritation.
Congratulations on your first DE shave :happy096 And with a Fatboy :happy088 Trust me, give it some time and "getting to learn your razor" and the smooth and slick shaves will come to you
Sounds like you are doing just fine. Once you move away from canned goo, and it sounds like you are, your shaves will only get better. Congratulations! :happy088
