I won this razor on a PIF from @LuvWetShavin.

I tried it yesterday and I thought "What a terrible razor." It just wasn't doing anything. It felt as if it had no blade in it. I mean it wasn't shaving at all. I put it aside and finished my shave with my flare tip. This morning I decided to try again.
Now remember that I am a newbie and please be kind. I discovered that I had put the razor together with the base upside down!! I felt like a complete goof. I corrected my mistake and tried again. All I can say is...
WOW!! This is one nice razor. I like to hear a razor working while I shave and this one does just that. The handle length is perfect and the weight is fantastic. I love the feel of this razor. It just seems so sturdy and well made. The finish is excellent.
This is my first new razor. All of my others are vintage and as such are not in perfect condition. Now this baby really shines. I may have to wear sunglasses while I'm shaving.
I cannot believe that a razor this well made is so reasonably priced. I was going to buy one if I didn't win and now I think I may buy one for my son. I am well pleased.
I am so glad I won this PIF and I want to thank @LuvWetShavin for his generosity.

@hrairy Fantastic! No worries we all still make mistakes and always will, it's part of learning the mechanics of things. RazoRock does indeed make some lovely razors and the Mission is one of them. Very :signs021:! I'm so glad the experience was so awesome for you. Enjoy :happy036:

They are indeed a great razor and nicely balanced too. with good weight in the handle, there is a notable weight difference between the Mission and the Merkur 34C with the mission being a whole .5oz heavier. Both shave very nicely. I've been focusing on using my Merkur to set a baseline so that I can compare various blades in my other razors (Mission, Mentor, Black beauty, SS, and Krona) but I will soon be venturing out to use my other razors more regularly. As a bonus the mentor comes with a 20 blade sampler, its hard to beat that for the price!

Thank you! I had been wondering how the razor performed but had never been able to find any info on it.
