Just finished my first one. 22 mm TGN silvertip set at 52mm loft.
I had bought a black top/butterscotch bottom Fuller brush with the intention of using it, but it cleaned up so well, I decided to use it as is and see how I like it. So I used an Everready 200T, I had to modify it to use this knot. It really is fun.

Wow! Great job, Bruce. I want to do a restore such as you've done, but haven't quite worked up the courage. I have a couple of vintage Rubberset brushes that I want to put new knots in, but I'm concerned about messing up the handles while trying to remove the old knots. How did you remove the knot on this one?

Luckily I have a drill press. So I cut the old knot down as far as I could with scissors, then took the rest out on the drill press with a forstner bit.

and how did you manage to widen the hole? with the same forstner bit? Looks really nice and kind of what I was thinking I would do when i restore one. I really like the look of the 200t and H40 F40

    Bruce,

You are gonna love that TGN knot. I have 3 refurbed brushes that I had Rodd do for me. All three have TGN knots. They seem to be holding up very well with only a few hairs shed. And they do help make a great lather too from soaps and creams.
