Not remembering what city I lived in, what day it was, or where I worked, I innocently left work today around 3:40, and walked to my bus stop a block away on the other side of City Hall. The Guy Fawkes protest and I reached the front steps of City Hall at the same time. It also swarmed my bus stop for about 30 minutes, causing buses to be late. This was a very tame protest by Portland's standards (President Bush (the first one) dubbed Portland "Little Beirut" after we actually attacked and bum rushed his limo while in it's procession of secret service and police. I think we're the only city to actually try to take out a President enmasse with hands and signs.

Here are some of the pics I took while wading through the crowd. Fans of Portlandia will recognize the front steps of City Hall.

I dunno, what's going on over there? There's always 11/5 protests in major cities. This year there was a world wide event called the Million Mask March.

It is, I love it here.
