I made the box ten years ago in shop class out of old barn wood. I just finally figured out what to do with it
Very nice! It's very satisfying to use something you've made yourself. Extra points for keeping your stash in the open-- Our shaving stuff is tucked away in an Ikea Helmer (drawer unit), so it's easy to be in denial about how much we have
Not bad. I rather like that a lot actually. Very compact and good for someone without much sink space (like me).
Its great for the essentials those are the items I used so far I have other things I've picked up like witch hazel and corn huskers lotion glycerine and a bunch of essential oils but they fit in my medicine cabinet. I figure as I acquire more stuff I'll pif the old out. I don't have enough space to let things accumulate unfortunately.
There's an antique pipe rack at a local store I wanna buy that would be awesome for razors if someone had more than ten. With my stuff it would look pitiful lol
There are several sayings about success that would work here... "Dress for the job you want." "If you're a small business and you want to be a big business, run it like a big business." In other words... "Be ready for all the razors you want." "If you only have a few razors and you want many razors, have the storage for many razors."
Thanks! My collection has over doubled since then lol I have over 20 razors 300 blades and tons of soaps and creams
I actually made a corner cupboard and evenly drilled 10 holes for my favorites and stacked my favorite creams and soaps on it as well. That box is used for my brushes and straight razor now
I just deleted the post trying to edit, oh well. What kind of straight razor do you have I just recently got two TI. I'm learning my straight shaves are not very smooth and lots of irritation but I'm not bleeding very much lol
