As promised, I'm posting before and after pics of my most recent acquisition -- and it's a good one! I got this off the Bay for $30 shipped, and to say it cleaned up well would be a vast understatement. This is, hands down, the best clean up I have experienced with a vintage razor, and I am way beyond my normal level of "stoked". Let's just say that I shot, I scored, and the crowd went wild! Enjoy the pics! :sport001 :happy023 Before on the left, after on the right. This is an impressive silver plated set with a serial number of K900281, which means it was manufactured in 1919 -- so not too shabby for a razor that will soon turn 90! They certainly didn't give these away, as the $5.00 price tag indicates (would cost about $64.00 in adjusted dollars today -- however, the silver plating would drive that price even higher). The inside of the case is like a time capsule, and is the most pristine I have seen. The logo and lettering inside the lid is simply amazing in its clarity.
