My New Custom 7-Day Set from TI

Steve Dempster from www.thiers-issard.co.uk (known as Blade on TSD) has just shipped me a custom 7-day set that he helped me order. You can see nice pictures on his site here.

The blades are 6/8 LeGrelot 3/4 to full hollow ground. The scales are legal ivory and the names of the week are engraved in Italian.

I'm also uploading a couple of other pictures that Steve took right out of the box when they arrived.

I'm not (yet) an SE guy, but "equipment" like this just makes me want to get there sooner. Absolutely gorgeous!

Please tell me that you got or plan to get one of the seven day display boxes. I am partial to the Deluxe Burl.

 

I saw a picture of those in the case on the website and fell in love with them. They are beautiful!
