Here's a pic of my new shaving bowl with my "go to" razor and brush: I bought this bowl to replace my Col. Conk bowl, because I was always hitting its sides with my brush. I love the new bowl! As a bonus, it only cost $3.99. Below is a comparison pic of the two. As you can see, they're almost identical in size.......except that my new bowl flares outward, instead of inward at the top.
I purchased the bowl at World Market. It is not a "dedicated" shaving bowl, as such, but fits my needs perfectly. I think it's probably a dipping bowl of some sort......as I found it in the section with cups, small bowls, etc. There are several colors from which to choose, as well. Presently, I'm using the bowl to build lather from a soft soap such as TOBS. I haven't yet used a hard soap, but the Col. Conk hard soap fits nicely inside my new bowl. Hope this helps, Dave
