Just received my latest soap purchase: Razorock Chianti Lavender. It was recommended to me based on my love of Cella. I was looking for something with similar qualities of Cella but with some different fragrance options. Had my first shave with it this morning. Very nice first impressions and what a deal. $8.99! Man I love the Italians.

I have some of that as well. I have a little more trouble getting as nice a lather as the RR La Famiglia soaps, but I'm sure it'll come around.

The only Italian I'm sweet on is Sophia Lauren. Her old movies anyway...

I think she's a little too mature for me nowadays.

That being said, I do like Proraso.

We got into Razorock for the same reason. My fav so far is bergamot neroli Don Marco (La Famiglia line). Using a wetter brush than I think I'll need has really helped my lather.

PSA: Razorock Cacao (classic line, $5.99) is being discontinued, per Joe/ItalianBarber. I will link to a review (source: shavesoaps.com) with more info for folks who are interested...

It's a shame that RazorRock is discontinuing Cacao, it a great soap. I'm glad I have a full tub....:)

Been meaning to give RazoRock soap a try. I've seen some in the the tour box, might have to snag one if they are still in there when it gets to me.

I put those in there. :) they are okay soaps but I'm more of a cream guy. MWF is pretty much my only soap left.

I don't know, as long as she is still breathing...

PS I have a tub of that very soap (RR Chianti Lavender), I need to try it for the first time soon.

    (Nice)
I do have a RazoRock Question?
The "Napoleon Violet" ... Not sure what I expected but used it for the 1st time yesterday and...
Lather-Yes. But no Fragrance. In the Jar-Nothing. In the Shaving Bowl-Nothing. On the Face-Nothing!
If anyone's out there knows? Is there a fragrance to it!!??

Great picture! Sophia will always be alluring :)

I haven't tried that one, so I'm not sure how strong the scent is, but you should definitely be smelling something. I would contact Joe via the "Contact Us" section on ItalianBarber.com or Razorock.com. He's very accessible & would definitely want to know if there's a problem. It will help to provide the batch number from the bottom of the white jar, the purchase date & vendor.
