Greeting Fellow Den mates.....I just wanted to write a quick not about my recent experience with Whipped Dog Brushes manufacturer Larry Andreassen. I sent a note to Mr. Andreassen with some questions and concerns for a brush required to meet some very unique difficulties I have shaving. To be specific, my recent treatment for Cancer has left me with a hair, both facial and cranial that is the consistent with steel wire. My previous brushes were adequate but I needed to learn how to best deal with this new follicular challenge. He was very thorough in asking me questions about what prep I use, what razor, cream or soap.......a plethora of questions all pertaining to my issue. Wow I thought, this is not your normal experience when ordering a brush. They usually just take your order no questions asked. With queries answered and a new education as to the hows and whys, I ordered a 30mm brush. I'm a big man and need to do the head and the face. The brush is a Black on Black Badger and looks amazing! I followed instructions on prepping the brush and anxiously awaited my first shave. Well I can tell you this, the brush without a doubt is the BEST brush I own and at a remarkable price! The brush is TAILORED to MY needs, not just a brush for the masses. The brush loads quickly and has enough loft and backbone to not only exfoliate properly but to produce a very slick and properly consistent lather. The difference in performance between my previous brushes and this is night and day! I can only compare it to purchasing a suit off the rack and trying to fit it to my frame of very large shoulders and small waist. I'd look like a clown! This is a custom brush, tailored to fit me and my needs perfectly! One can not appreciate the difference UNLESS they experience it! Without a doubt or hesitation, I recommend Whipped Dog Brushes for ANYONE wanting an experience above par! I love my Whipped Dog Brush! I suggest you contact Mr. Andreassen quickly so you too can experience for yourself what a Properly Tailored shaving brush experience is. You Won't be disappointed!
