I know others have weighed in but here's my opinion. Price: 7.99 at my local drug store, with a full price mail in rebate for first time buyers. Smell: is nice. Smells like a creamsicle. Fades quickly so don't worry about smelling like that for long. Moisturizing: extremely moisturizing. Barely needed as balm afterwards. Would be great for winter. Cushion: I found the cushion to be superb. I barely felt my razor, with no burn afterwards. Glide: this stuff is slick! More than enough glide. Lather: this is a non lathering cream. That said it can be lathered if you work at it. I didn't personally. Speed: it is very convenient. Just soak face with hot water and apply cream. This will be great for those mornings where I'm in a hurry and don't want to bother with building a great lather. Overall I'd recommend at least trying it once and if you don't like it you have something to PIF. HAPPY SHAVING
I've actually had great success lathering this cream in the palm of my hand. My wife picked me up a tube if this while we were in San Diego. I lathered it using a fairly stiff boar brush that was just damp. This is now the cream I keep on the shower for those quick shaves.
i just bought a tube of this at walmart for under 4 bucks today...i will send in the rebate and actually receive it for free once they send the money back to me via check. not sure when i'll give it a try but i figure for free...why not.
Thanks for the review. I have seen this at Walgreens and just haven't pulled the trigger on it. I figured it must not be that great if they are selling it there. Now I will have to give it a try.
