Hello. After my first brush got deteriorated: https://theshaveden.com/forums/thre...aving-brush-has-shortened.63969/#post-1773889, I'm gonna buy a second one. I'm tempted by a synthetic. I was thinking of this one maggardrazors.com: https://www.maggardrazors.com/product/maggard-razors-24mm-synthetic-shaving-brush-black-handle/, this razorock one from connaughtshaving.com: https://connaughtshaving.com/rrb24.html, or this razorock one from man-store.ro(A Romanian store): https://man-store.ro/produs/razorock-chrome-sintetic-plissoft-pamatuf/. Maggard and connaughtshaving both have excellent delivery prices to Romania. What are the best dimensions for a knot and loft? All of the 3 options have 24mm knots. My first and only brush had a 22mm knot, so I figured to go with a larger knot. Any opinions and advice?
I like and Prefer 24 mm brushes. There just the right size for me. YMMV. Stick with Boar or Badger. Synthetic’s are ok for travel and I think I get Better Usage Easer to lather most soaps and creams. As Before YMMV. If you want a really nice Brush try a Maggards 70/30 Badger Boar mix brush. I have two of them. I Don’t even reach for my Other Brushes Anymore. I have quite a few Brushes Badger, Boar,Synthetic, Horse hair. Hope this helps a little. HAGD. Sent from my iPhoneXR using Tapatalk
