Well, I started the Mike's thread and now.....

    Mystic Water Shave Soap.

Mystic seems to have more of the "floral" variety of scents.

    So, I ordered 3 samples.
    • Wild Lavender
    • Lavender and Lime
    • Lilly of the Valley
Tomorrow I'll start my journey and share my thoughts. ;)

This stuff is great. I have tried several of the scents and love them all.

blanka I will not eat my shaving products. Promise.

Personally, I'd love to try their coconut. However, I'm sooo backlogged on product now (and I'll be making an order of some new RR soap too). Probably need to throw this one on the backburner for now.

OK, Mystic is on my try next list. I am totally in love with Mikes soaps, and from others posts I assume Mystic is much the same. If so, I'll soon have enough soap on hand to last me the rest of my natural life. Really looking forward to ya'alls reviews!

Day 1, Lilly of the Valley.....

Very nice floral scent, not too phu-phu or overpowering, just a pleasant fragrance.

The moment I picked up the sample, I knew it was "different", it felt "sticky" (in a good way)
This soap is very soft (like MWF).
I whipped up a lather very quickly and it lasted past 3 passes.

The face feel was nice, not too slick but with enough glide to get the job done.
I'm liking Mystic Water Shave Soap... so far. :)

I was the fortunate winner of 5Savages generous March Sampler PIF which included Mystic Water Soap. I liked the soap so much that I ordered more samples the next day. Some samples I have used and enjoyed include: Marrakesh, Prospect Creek (with peppermint and menthol, maybe my favorite so far), Sandalwood Rose and Orange Vanilla. To me, the scents are fairly strong and longer lasting than some others, which I prefer. The lather builds quickly and provides a nice thick cushion. Also, the lather does not melt away on my face if I'm enjoying a particularly long shave. I have no problem getting enough lather for three passes plus touch up.
As you can tell, I'm a big fan of Mystic Water Soaps!

    Day 2, Lavender and Lime.....

Very nice lavender scent, with a light lime scent and a hint of menthol.

I whipped up a lather very quickly again and it lasted past 3 passes plus clean up.

I'm liking Mystic Water Shave Soap... More and more. :)

    I just tried Mysore Sandalwood.

Nice subtle scent. Definitely not too overpowering (which I like)

It whipped up quickly and gave me a nice cushion. This is my first time trying Mystic. So far so good! Can't wait to try my other samples!
