    Very sad. And as a former scientist, fascinating. For those who don't know, Dobermans as a breed are susceptible to narcolepsy. It's a recessive trait that has been exploited by scientists to better understand the genetic causes of the disease. They've even developed tests to identify individual dogs that might pass on the trait to their offspring.

    Oh the poor thing... I can't imagine what it would be like for Oscar to have that... he gets excited about everything :(

    Learned another thing today.
    I didn't know Dobermans were subject to narcolepsy.
