A few years back my wife won a Kindle. It hasn't gotten much use until recently when I downloaded several books. I now carry it to work in my bag so it needs some kind of cover for the screen, and the cheaper the better. Any recommendations? Thanks.

Not knowing which Kindle you have, or your actual price range, I'm not sure if this will fit. I'm very happy with Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Leather Case, Onyx Black - fits all Paperwhite generations prior to 2018 (Will not fit All-new Paperwhite 10th generation) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007R5YFS4/?tag=thshde-20
    Good luck!

I agree. You need to know what model it is. If it is one for which Amazon is still selling a case, I recommend them. I always use their cases for mine.

Right, didn't think of that. It's the Model 7, from 2014 maybe.

I believe I got our cases from Amazon also.

Go to the Amazon "Manage My Devices And Content" page to get the exact model name (including year) for your Kindle. If the actual Amazon case is not available, we have had good luck with Fintie brand cases.
