New Box for Acme 5/8 Straight

    I created this box for my Acme 5/8 straight. The box is made of walnut with a mahogany insert. I used 1/4 inch plywood for the top and bottom. It is finished with clear polycrylic.

    The first two pictures are after the box is assembled and before finishing.

    Next, I finished the box with polycrylic.

    Then, I lined the inside with red felt.

    Finally, I installed the hardware.
