I just received confirmation from DHL that the new brush I ordered from Wiborg Shaving Company in Berlin is on its way. I am looking forward to getting this beauty:

The brush is a Finest 2-band in Faux Ivory, with 27mm knot and 51mm loft. It's my understanding that the handles are hand-turned, polished and then engraved with the company name and crest. Here is a link to the company's website.

The knot looks sumptuous and I like the handle shape but not keen on the script. I'll probably be in the minority there though.

Absolutely beautiful! But 27mm is way too big for me. Enjoy!

According to Jerrold at The Superior Shave, these folks are the only other people who put up photos of the actual brushes you will be selecting from.

Ok. Seriously. There's a company in Germany that's now making Shave brushes from Goats hair. Is this the same company. I'm not kidding.

    Goat shaving brush from Frank's!!!
DON'T its not a shaving brush. Mine came this week and I just tried it. It not designed for shaving MUSHES right down when you try to use it.
Its really only a Make Up Brush!!

    Flattens out to nothing!

2 days later: brush ruined. Definitely not a shaving brush!

Very nice! I have been eyeing these brushes closely and await the reviews to start coming in. Please post your thoughts as well as pictures when you do receive yours.

Very very nice. I should buy a brush there too.

Can you tell something about the bristles (when it has arrived) ?! Soft tips and enough backbone?

Yeah, they have 6 fan shaped ones that I've been talking to them about. Hard to find reasonable fans for some reason.

The least expensive fan shaped one they have is $149.00 at current euro exchange rate......I'll have to pass for now. Maybe I'll get that little fan shaped 1901 when I get my Tubby II from New Forest. Why oh why are all the fans only made by the high end guys?

VERY pretty brushes!! But I just can't justify spending that kind of money on a brush...The #6 horse has ruined me..:happy097:
