Am a Brit but living in Thailand for the past 18 years and new to DE shaving - cartridge till now DE shaving is not easy here as generally the locals do not shave (have little or no beard) and so products hard to find. Have to rely on international shipping or friends coming out of the US/UK on a visit happy to bring a small parcel of (example) blades, soap etc. Just received a parcel with a Rockwell 6c which I am looking forward to trying and waiting for new soaps
Welcome. Are you familiar with Siam Wet Shave? Not cheap but they're there (Bangkok) and carry razors, brushes, software from the major players. You should be able to find Dorco, Gillette Thin, SuperMax, and BIC blades in shops (monks and barbers). Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

Thank you for your reply and yes, I had heard about them. As you say not cheap - and many things out of stock - but I have noted an Omega brush at a reasonable price that I shall order from them
