I have been reading here for a while and decided to join to ask a few questions. I am also going to start a 30 day challange in March, so hopefully I will learn something during that process. Just went through a blade sample pack and chose a blade, then I got a sample pack of soaps, picked one of those, so I should be good to go for March. My main goal in starting to wetshave is to get a clean shave with no irritation (still working on it).
Welcome to the Den from a displaced Texan! (I lived in Texas from 1959 to 2007). I miss it. Congrats for starting on the path to shaving nirvana. I'm sure you'll enjoy interacting with these guys (and gals) on the forum and learn much from them as I have.
Glad you found us. I grew up in Baytown, TX. I left in '67 when I joined the US Army. Be sure to mark your location on the TSD map - instructions here. Join us on the Shave of the Day forum. It's fun and informative.
A warm welcome to you from North Texas. You might want to take a look at some of the references contained in my signature line below for discussions of the 30 Day systems and more on hardware. With that being said ... Welcome to the Den. We know you'll fit right in. So grab yourself a comfy chair, and give our threads a spin! Burma Shave
Welcome to the Den. This is a great place to find new ways to spend money! I mean save money by wet shaving. There are also some very well versed folks on any part of the experience. Enjoy the ride.
