I have been checking out this site for a while now, and finally made an account here. I got into the old art of traditional wetshaving 3 years ago. I am currently working up the courage to try a straight, and in the mean time I am learning every thing possible about them and how to use one, so I will be on here alot haha. thanks for the warm welcome! my kit got stolen a while back, so I am back to the vdh razor from walmart. for some reason my arko was spared, so I have that. but before all that happened, i was using an old hand me down razor, Im not too sure what it was but i loved it, and miss it. Im after a merkur 34c, and pretty much any straight I can get my hands on. My life tends to be hectic, and I move around a lot, so taking the time to make a perfect lather, and listen to the blade sing across my face is something I owe my sanity to. a ritual I always have, no matter what else may be going on. And I just realized that my screen name is very easily mis-read, and had a good laugh. its my first name and initials. thank you again for the welcome
