Got new Bethlehem Olive Wood and WD 24mm knot, had them a month or so finally got a chance to work on them. I sanded of the finish and opened up the hole to little over 25mm, started at top and worked my way done so the knot went all the way to bottom. For the wood finish I chose Teak Oil. I set the knot into Dap 100% Silicone Adhesive. Got that idea from one of our members. Also put 1" rubber o ring on brush that I saw the other day on TSD, thank both you guys.. Looks cool to me. Also put a nickel in bottom of hole to get the depth of knot I wanted, about 17 mm to bottom of knot, got that from another guy on the den thanks. I had got a EJ Badger Brush from nationwide box tour III, the knot was loose and came out with a little twist and pull so I cleaned it up and re-set the knot in Dap also. Had to grind off the plastic stop at top of knot, I set it in a little deeper, real great looking brush, was well taken care of.
@Tattoobob Fantastic job, enjoy those beauties ! As for the O-ring i have use many of them in the past for my knots when i had an over-bloom problem Soon i manage to learn to toss the knot lower so the knot was not floppy and no need for an O-ring.
