Hello all, Just found out about this forum and decided to join. I am shaving with a straight for almost 2 months at the moment. I really enjoy the process of it. I love learning new things so I will be reading on this place alot.
Hi! Welcome to the Den. Glad you're here! Be sure to check in for the December Newbie Give-Away for a chance to win some free goodies!
Welkom to TSD, Heljen. You're from Flanders? One side of my family is originally from Adinkerke! Enjoy the shaves with your straight and have fun browsing around here in the Den!
Welcome to the Den. We know you'll fit right in. So grab yourself a comfy chair, and give our threads a spin! Burma Shave
Thank you all. I'm also from Flanders. Adinkerke is all the way on the West side of the country, I live in the East in Limburg. My biggest surprise when starting wetshaving like this (been using cartridges before this) was the coticule. I never heard of it before visiting the forums.
...to The Shave Den family! Be sure to stop by The Shave Den "Master Sticky" thread to familiarize yourself with the rules and different areas of The Shave Den!
Welcome, nice to have you here. You came to the right place to learn about straight razor shaving. I've been to Belgium three times. The first two times was transit to and from Spain (I did get to walk around Brussels and I passed through on a train going from France to Holland.
Hi Heljen, welcome to TSD! Happy shavings! Got a coticule on my wish list. One of the many things I love about Belgium. (besides the beer, the chocolate, the cheese, my wife, food in general, etcetera)
I always loved Belgian mussels in season, every time I order mussels in the US, I'm sorely disappointed. It's kind of like espresso in Italy, the stuff they serve in Starbuck's doesn't even compare. Wilkommen Heljen!
