New old man here. I found this place searching for options to fix a brush (maybe). I picked up a serialized TSN Simpsons Phyl brush that sheds about eleventy frillion hairs each use. I just put it away and use another instead, but like it and might want to fix it - new knot? I don’t know. I’m using Simpson Duke 2 best, Simpson Chubby 2 super, and West Coast Shaving Torch. I like the Duke size and I think because it’s not so dense it seems to lather better for me. I thought the Chubby was big until my son got me the WCS Torch. That thing is huge. Anyway, hello all.

Hello and welcome! I'm interested in refurbishing a brush as well so I'm curious to see how you go about it.

Welcome to TSD ..... As for brush restoration it's not to difficult to re-knot a nice brush handle and feel free to contact me if you need any tips or information.

    :)
