1953 (edit) super speed and a 1964 slim adjustable! The super speed is a little more aggressive than my Merkur 23c. I got a good shave with it today. I think I may make the super speed my focus for this month.

It has a "Y" date code on it. Perhaps I'm reading something wrong?

1953 I believe, good sir. But it's one of the best razors ever, dat's for sure.

Ah, I missed that! I thought it seemed a little more worn for a 1978. I'm new to the vintage stuff.

Congrats on the haul! Both great razors. You'll love the slim. It's like having several razors in one.

    Have fun!
Figuring out the blades is the best part!

A 73 would have had a black aluminum handle with a flaired tip.
