Hi all, After going through the expense of replacing those multi-blade carts & electric shaves that I can't seem to get close, I decided to delve into wet-shaving! I have purchased a EJ DE89L & now have around a dozen shaves under my belt. I am having a blast & also feel the need to start a collection, lol. Any suggestions on building a collection? Unique, vintage, interesting razors & gear? Cheers, dekatz
Welcome to TSD! This is the best wet shave board on the planet! The EJDE89L is a mighty fine razor! As for advice on building a collection..... How much do you have to spend!
Welcome to the den. Adding to your collection is more of a preference thing. Do you want to try vintage razors/new razors. Spend all your money trying dozens of blades. Buy tons of creams and soaps. Buy tons of aftershaves. It is a very tricky thing to decide what to buy. I personally would stick with one razor and a blade combo that works for you. Then start experimenting with either more creams and soaps or buy another razor to your liking and try to get a great shave from that one as well.
Thanks to all for the warm welcome. Queen of Blades, thanks for the link to the review section. I believe I will start out my collection with a birth year razor (1966)
