Hello all, My name's Porter, thought I'd say hello to the group and introduce myself. I've been wet shaving for 3 years now, pretty much exclusively with straights (although if I'm lucky I'll be the proud owner of a Gillette slim in the next couple of hours). The shave soap bug has bit me pretty bad as well. Happy to be here, look forward to chatting with everyone about our crazy little shaving world

@wristwatchb, right now I've got some Mike's (Rose and cedar and pine and cedar), a puck of MWF, some Razorock fresco I lent to a friend, and some TSD Iced Subzero on the way. I'm a big menthol lover, so I look forward to the tingle Here are the pictures of the slim, it's a 62 H3. Haven't shaved with it yet, but the fact that it was James Bond's razor in Goldfinger, and that it was made when Kennedy was still alive is enough to have me keep it, regardless of how it shaves.
