My AD kicked in strong this weekend. I remembered my dad used to shave with the Old Spice mug with OS soap, so I decided a tub of TSD Old Spice type might be in order to send him for a surprise. I'm hoping he'll enjoy it enough that I can continue to order it for him periodically. Of course, if I'm going to order something I should order a bunch to help defray the shipping costs, so I had to pickup some samples of shaving creams. I tried to focus on some of the mentholated beauties on hand ( Godrej, Dettol Cool, Vasmol Cool ) but had to also grab a a sample of the Trumpers GFT ( SWMBO's favorite Trumper's scent ) and JM Fraser's Original. And what spring/summer order would be complete without a little Florida Water ? 1OldGI's endorsement was good enough for me. And to top it off ... I had to order a sample of TSD's English Fern AS splash. If it gets the approval of SWMBO's nose then I'll get the larger bottle. I'm uber-geeked, and already planning my next order ( got to get some SubZero and probably Iced Mojito for the deep summer months ).
You inspired me! I have been wanting to place an order for a while now and after reading your post I decided to go for it. Now I am also waiting with anticipation for the postman to bring me the goodies! I am also waiting for SWMBO to get home and freak out!
Almost - I took her to our favorite fish-n-chip place out on the dock. The weather cleared up for a bit and we went walking along the pier. It was a very nice night - I am going to have to give in to my AD's more often.
