I haven't seen many like this in general, I can't even find any for sale on ebay and such. I just want to know a little more about it, like why it has dovo scales and a dubl duck blade. Any help is apreciated.
Sounds like a frankenrazor. Perhaps the scales rotted off the duck and the guy broke the blade on his Dovo. Two parts make a whole. BTW the pics don’t seem to be showing up
yes! it is the solingen best quality etching, i picked it up recently and honed it to get a knick or two out. I ahven't used it yet, but was wanting to know more about it.
I got it at a second hand store that is run by the retirement home I work at, i spotted the blue razor box and knew I had to get it. Paid like 5 bucks for this bad boy
Dovo made all the Dubl Duck razors, in their same current factory location from which they now work, so it isn't impossible that it was factory-assembled 'franken' razor.
There are also some Puma/Ducks floating around Dubl Duck didn't make razors there are tons of stories out there about who actually made them, personally I think a few place were Jobbed out to make them over the years
