Welcome! I just moved up to NorCal from OC, miss it down there. I have an AS-D2 also and really love it and am pretty sure you will too. Personally, I am a Russian blade fanatic and can attest that Vokshod's, Polsilver Super Iridiums and Gillette Silver Blues all work great in the AS-D2.
