Always shave wet, first with a DE, then early injector, and most recently mach... Incensed at $15.00 for blades I got a pristine early model rolls [ I remember my dad using one], on ebay and bleeding a bit but think I'm getting the hang of it. It takes me quite a while to complete the shave still leaving white hairs on my neck. I stropped honed and stropped again, but still not a sharp as I wished. Steve

Welcome to TSD! This is the best wet shave board on the planet! With that Rolls, you are going to need to keep the blade almost flat on your face and stretch your skin with your free hand like you would when shaving with a straight...that should eliminate some or all of your bleeding, and make sure you are using ZERO pressure!
