thanks guys Thanks guys I really appreciate it! I'm really happy to have joined this site. I belong to another forum of reefkeeping my other addiction. Nothing more relaxing then a good shave followed by an hour or two watching my reef! My current shave setup is as follows. I have a Merkur Futur with Feather Blades. I have the following shave creams. Cryil R. Salter Mint Essential Lime Sublime Citrus Vetiver Taylor of Old Bond Street St. James College Vulfix Sicilian Lime I know everyone will scoff at this but I use Caswell and Massey's Almond however I use it mixed with Marseille Soap to create a very thick slick lather. I'm really looking to upgrade to a straight razor. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. cheers D TOB
Hi I joined today also and joined the "Straight Razor Place" site four weeks ago and have been shaving with a straight razor for as long. These sites are fun and shaving has become a real treat. A little bloody sometimes but a real treat!:happy102

Welcome! Tried the straight but didnt have the patience so i gave it up quickly Maybe somewhere down the road.
