Welcome from Canada. As you'll note, opinions differ considerably. Im like JR Reyes in that I like to rinse, wipe and dry mine before putting the lids back on. My MdC (in a bowl with no lid) came with written documentation stating air drying the soap was beneficial.

Kinda OCD? Thats like being kinda pregnant

I turn the bowl over to let any water run out, then put the lid on. I don't dry the soap or anything like that.

I always leave the lid off of my daily soap over night.

Welcome to TSD! Personally, I dry them out.
