I've heard that Florena aftershave balm is very similar to Nivea balm.

I've also noticed that Nivea shaving creams come in tubes that are very similar to Florena.

That being said, has anyone tried both? I'd like to know if they're really the same cream (or so close it's hard to tell).

They are very similar. I like the Florena a little more.

Never tried the Florena balm........but I would imagine its pretty similar. Most "cheap" aftershave balms are very similar.

As for the shave cream comparison: They smell similar but it ends there.

The ingredients, not at my fingertips, are NOT the same. It is Not the same cream.

Not the same cream. In my opinion Florena is a better all around cream. Having said that Nivea is a good cream.

OK, doesn't sound like anything I'll try to track down anytime soon. I'm happy w/my Florena.

I find the tubes look similar, but the 2 creams are different. I prefer the Florena.

As the Florena contains Phenoxyethanol I've only tried Nivea. Nivea is a good ASB. Florena has a long lasting scent I don't like. My brother had it.
With the Fluids I tried both and I like Nivea more.
The RCs are both good, Nivea and Florena, but I like Florena more.

Florena has changed at some poin in the last little while, advertised "new formula" on the package. The most recent tube I bought also changed look a bit, with the writing being perpendicular to the the length of the tube. It's thicker than the old stuff, different scent and orangish in colour. Good stuff.
