Can't explain it....but first week in Jan I decided to take a plunge into wet shaving, and give up a few decades of cartridges. Much Google searching...and ended up lurking nearly exclusively here across many of the sub forums. Add in Amazon Prime, WSP, Whipped Dog, ShaveNation...and a Feather Artist DX, Feather pro blades, along with a Merkur FUTUR, Feather and Treet blades, and finally a perfecto brush & stand showed up. TOBS and Proraso to start out on the software side. Did OK learning and youtubing for a few weeks...and some major RAD and SAD kicked in. After meeting up locally to get a E1 Fatboy in late January, I sold the FUTUR, and now have.....the E1 Fatboy, L1 Gillette Slim Adjustable, Parker 87R, a Puma Straight Razor (NOS), a Henkels Straight, 300+ various DE blades to mix up, mucho aftershaves and balm from Stirling, TOBS, Proraso, Lather & Wood, a Semogue OC boar, a WSP synthetic....and probably some others I'm forgetting. I'll quote another forum I'm on whose motto goes equally along with TSD. 'Sorry about your wallet'. TSD is a great friendly place for learning wet shaving. Much of this style (and aroma!) of shaving I remember from many summers of visiting grandparents. I'm thoroughly hooked.
Welcome from Alabama the Heart of Dixie. Glad you are here and it sounds like you are at the right place. You have some nice gear and you may want to head over to the 30dc. https://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/march-2019-30-day-rule-focus-pix-discussion.61418/
Welcome to TSD from North Cackalacky. I grew up in Texas, but I left in 67 when I entered the army. Only returned to visit family. Glad to have you. https://jrshaving.blogspot.com/p/brushes-for-adoption.html
