Beautiful redness shave Charlie.
Don't know how that happened. I do remember typing a response. Oh well, technology or brain fart. You decide.
Excellent shave this morning Gary. Hipe you are having a great day.
Very nice acquistion Myles.
Awesome shave Cliff, Primo is the man.
They could not get it in the boat. They towed it behind the boat. Image being in a boat in the middle of the night pulling on a string and that thing surfaces. Of course these guys had killed off a few beers before hand.
Well, let me say the former SOUNDS better. (Oh, I just did say that lol.) I've done that before, where what I say doesn't "connect".
Two excellent shaves Blair. Enjoy your Monday.
So I brought out the vintage OS shave soap today because I knew needed a slick soap since this was my first time using the Gillette Red Tip. I put in brand new voskhod blade and went to town. I have to admit I was a little intimidated on that first pass with a week and two days of growth I could feel blade, definitely aggressive but awesome. did my typical 3 pass shave. ABSOLUTELY baby butt smooth. No cuts no irritation, and for the first time using a red tip without any mishaps, I consider this an excellent shave. finished the shave off with the Vintage OS aftershave and threw on some beard oil to keep my face soft. Off to PT now.
You go Myles! Very impressive first shave with the Red Tip. You just thought this shave was great....get a few more in with it.
That would’ve been one heck of a night for sure.

Very nice Myles. Good luck at PT.
I have worked with some characters over the years.
Thank you, Joe!
Thanks, Gary! Good evening!
Great Tech Hybrid shave, Gary!
Sorry, this is what happens when I don't get a chance to check in for 8 hrs...@wchnu likes 'em, though:
Love what Grizzly Bay did with the gold flake, Jim. You'd have to get that just right so they don't float to the bottom. A great photo!
I had that same '59 Flare Tip. Yes, a fine razor Joe. I passed mine on to my Father in Law so that he could enjoy it too.
I always look forward to your recaps, Clint. You were -1 on razors this month? -2 counting the Parker? Yeesh...congrats.
Congrats on the new razor, Perry. You have the most diverse Injector collection out there. Great stuff.
It was fantastic to see you posting again, the thread benefits when you're on it.
What a great hardware match, Danny! You are right- great shaves, laughs and fun. That's it in a nutshell.
Looking forward to it! This place benefits from your expertise.
What a lather! Great post as always, Joseph. Might I ask- why the swap from a PJ3 to current PJ?
MonoBilt Monday! Awesome, Jeff. Looking forward to your Modern razor focus for sure.
Look at that Sheraton! Stunning.
Your wife wanted to smell like Christmas? Hopefully the scent doesn't smell like Turkey, Egg Nog and the detonator from those Christmas Cracker/hat thingies...
Glad to hear the trip home ended safely, Andrew. Those '89 are smooth shavers for sure. The Epsilon is on 'the list' now too...
LOVE that brush! Awesome, Charlie. It was made to go with the razor too!
You have too many Leresches...
Love the colours again, Gary. Why would you keep it simple, btw. Your explanations help us out a lot with vintage Gillettes.
Your contributions were outstanding this month, Cliff. Hope you are back again next month!
Congrats. If you like TTOs in general, you will definitely like that Red Tip, Myles. Its aggressiveness is overstated at times, imho.
Now THAT is camping!
Which plate did you use on the Supply, Blair?
Great Red Tip score, Myles! The safety razor looks to be in fine shape!
