Never paid attention to these before until yesterday when I noticed it says the blades are made in Japan, so that got my attention. Sure enough, on the bottom of the handle under the head is the Kai logo. Used one this morning on 4 days growth and it was one of the best cart shaves I've ever had. VERY smooth and sharp -- I was good to go in less than 2 passes but cleaned up with 3. No nicks or irritation at all. The only drawback is the uniquely shaped handle is a bit funky to get ahold of at first but! the carts come off and fit the Atra handle. Some of the Personna and SuperMax carts are very good for me but these are better. I will be buying them again.
