OCtober 3, 2017 Wolfman WR1 OC Feather Rudy Vey Rover with TGN Finest CRSW Jeff’s Soap Floid Blue Just another automatic great shave this morning. The Wolfman OC does require more effort and attention than the OneBlade Genesis but I have been able to get back in the groove quickly. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.
3 OCtober 2nd Shave w/ carbon blade Pre-Shave: Hot Shower Brush: 24mm Silvertip Badger, Frank Shaving (FS) Soap: Castle Forbes Shaving Cream, Lavender Razor: Valet VC2, Autostrop Blade: Carbon Steel(CS), Feather Seikan (2) Post-Shave: Cold Water rinse, OSMA Alum block and Brisk Spice, Avon Photo: Today's shave was as smooth as yesterday was rough. I think it was the blade that need to be broke in a bit. You also get that in other blades as well, some SE and Injector blades come to mind. After three passes I am left with a good shave and I am happy with it. Not the closest shave I have had but a smooth one all the same. On the plus side, it was better than yesterday’s offering.
SOTD October 3, 2017 Prep: Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap Blade: GEM stainless Razor: GEM 1912 Brush: Vulfix badger Lather: Palmolive shave stick Post: Witch hazel, Speick aftershave WTG, touch up Shave stick focus begins. I'll try to use one every other shave, but no promises. Today's lather was good. I've normally stumbled with shave sticks and lather hydration. It seems to dry up on me quickly, so I'm focusing on dipping the tips and working in good water levels. I did much better today than I have in the past. I really liked the lather quality from the Palmolive. Nice, clean, soapy scent and pretty good protection. The post shave left something to be desired. I could be spoiled by a month of Stirling. Good shave in the end. Have a nice day!

Great photo Jim. I really like the vintage print look. Very cool razor. Bravo. Great focus Perry. I don't get the soap drying but I sometimes end up with unlathered soap on my first pass when I use soap sticks. Tom's brushes are just gorgeous. Fantastic photo Mark. The little brush is a lather monster.
OCtober 3rd Gillette Old Type w Nacet (2) TGN Synthetic First Canadian Shave Soap Co. Maximo Gomez Cuba Thayers Chatillon Lux Unconditional Surrender AS 2nd day of the OC focus, 2nd day with the Old Type. Whipped up a fantastic lather with one of my favourite soaps. Top tier for scent and performance. 3 passes with a little focussed neck work and I would call this a DFS. I need to get this razor dialed back in, as I've left a little in my problem areas. Finished with the fantastic CL AS and feeling pretty good. Have a great day all!
Looks like a nice travel setup! Double Epic! Two shaves in a row ? Great Score! OCOG! I think, if I'm not mistaken, that they use FaTip heads. I found the Sheraton to be a very mild shaver. If you want a little more aggression out of it open it up a 1/4 turn. Beautiful picture Clint! Any difference in the closeness of the shave between the two razors ? Fantastic photo Jim! Ken, Did you strop the blade between shaves? Great photo, Perry. Killer setup, Brian! Very classy, Mark!
Usually a face-latherer, Andrew. Used an old soup bowl for the times I wanted to use one, until I made this bowl last week. It is working quite well, and I think I'll bowl lather a bit more.
