Back to the beginning of my brushes. Rubberset 400/3.
Still working my way through EDRIO, today was the DD Goldedge.
Staying focussed this month with the MWF. I am mos def© going to make it through the month,
without having to break into the backup puck I purchased.
Nothing loads like a boar brush with a very high (63mm) loft.
I don't use the extreme high-pressure pressing as I do with the synthetic, but it's close.
Daily straight-shaves are challenging due to the minimal stubble.
I have to be cognizant of not using too much pressure, especially on my neck area.
I have developed an effective pre-shave prep, thanks to Scott @DaltonGang which includes:
    25 laps on plain linen
15-20 laps on a CrOx linen
15 laps on a FeOx Balsa
40 laps on my SRP 3" leather strop
20 laps on my Savin leather strop
It seems like a lot, however, the results are worth it.
Still struggling with the ATG on the right side of my chin. The skin there is not accustomed yet.
Except for that, I got a great shave.
The Ogallala stung nicely and smells wonderful.

That razor looks just fantastic in that RickPic. Sounds like it was a great shave.
Stunning! I think your gear is the 30DC version of the chicken/egg argument, Jim... what came first? Did the brushes match the software, or did the software match the brushes...
I use those blades in the BlackHawk as well, Terry. Yes, they are awesome in there. Looking at your Barbershop, I realized that I don't think Stirling does anymore 'specialty' labels anymore. Soaps like Barbershop, Electric Sheep, MITA, Ben Franklin, Mountain Man etc used to have cartoonish (not a negative), different labels from the usual ones. Doesn't look like he has done that for a few years.
Good luck at the HS today, Joe! If a Shavette saves you time, you sir, have arrived.
Very nice pic, Daniel. I'm worried about you, though. Continued use of Clubman at your age will ensure a longer period of bachelorhood than is standard...:)
I like your CH2 handles, Clint, but that Paladin may be my favourite resin pour of all of yours. Just magnificent. If that was turned by a person and not a machine, the ribbing of the beehive is exceptional work. It is quite tough to do well, actually.
Congrats on getting moved in, Jim! Great looking combo for the occasion...didn't Oleo October used to be a thing on here for a few folks?
Glad to hear your wife is getting settled already. Happy wife, happy/easier life...
Awesome LC, Tom. You have some very unique Avon scents again. I've never seen the Blue Blazer around here. I usually see a ton of Tai winds, Oland, Deep Woods and Spicy bottles in the antique stores in the area.
Love that Zenith, Blair. The CK6 keeps getting great reviews on here as well.
That brush is old and lame, Joseph. Get rid of it. I will send you the mailing address of a free disposal site. :eatdrink047:
