OLD Lord Shave soap?

I visited a local antique store on Sunday and there was a puck of Lord shave soap. The scent was nice and it was all in the original packaging. The vendor wanted $12.00 but I passed because I wanted to check on it first. Does anyone have any info?

I never herd of it either. I might stop and buy it anyway so I can post a picture.

I have a 40-50 yr old Lord Tech, totally dilapidated, and the blades with which it came.

 

I'll snatch it up tomorrow or Wednesday and post a picture on this thread.

 

Penhalion's used to have a shaving soap to go along with their Lord's cologne. It might be that. If so, that's one hell of a find.
